Tour a Beautiful French Château!

As I was doing some traveling for business this month, I finally had a chance to read this month's Architectural Digest.  I read this wonderful article about this beautiful French Château that Flore de Brantes (a decorative arts dealer) has remodeled. I just HAD to share the pictures with you all.

The chateau was built in 1770 and is on 1400 acres! Don't you love the tapestries below?
I love the powder blue of this room.  Not sure I am a fan of the gold trees, but the painting is marvelous!

I love the painted panels in the back... and don't you like how the coffee table is actually an antique sundial?
Beautiful antique tapestries!
This fireplace mantel vignette is lovely.
 A beautiful chinoiserie desk!
Isn't this lit à la polonaise wonderful?  I would love to have a little nook in the house for one of these!
Wouldn't you love to have a cutting garden like this?
And here is a look down the driveway with the limestone pavilions lining the drive.

Images are from Architectural digest with photography by François Halard.
